K2EDTA Microtainer Details

An anticoagulant called K2EDTA is used to keep blood in collection tubes for a full blood count (CBC).

By efficiently neutralizing the calcium ion in blood, these microtainers stop blood coagulation.

K2EDTA microtainers maintain a consistent erythrocyte count and do not alter the size or quantity of leukocytes.

Instructions of Use

• Maintain a 30° to 40° angle between the tiny blood collection tube and the puncture site’s surface. To obtain a blood sample, do not scrape the skin’s surface. Blood will readily flow down the reservoir wall to the tube’s bottom after gathering two or three drips.
• Tubes should be filled in between the fill marks.
• Gently invert the mixture 7 to 10 to combine the additive and blood.
