Gel and Clot Activator Details
These are coated with micronized silica particles that accelerate blood clotting. The gel barrier efficiently separates the blood from the cells’ fibrin and prevents substances from being exchanged between blood cells and serum. It is effective at retaining the original properties of blood and resolving hemolysis since it is an activator of clotting.
Usage Instructions
- Maintain a 30° to 40° angle between the tiny blood collection tube and the puncture site’s surface. To obtain a blood sample, do not scrape the skin’s surface. Blood will readily flow down the reservoir wall to the tube’s bottom after gathering two or three drips.
- Tubes should be filled in between the fill marks.
- Gently invert the mixture 7 to 10 to combine the additive and blood.
