Sample (blood) taken at home through finger pricking. Our Vitamin D, D Blood Test detects 2 biomarkers which indicate the levels of Vitamin B12 & D present in blood.
Vitamins are essential compounds to sustain life. A lack of vitamins may cause nausea, constant fatigue, lightheadedness, and irregular heart rhythm.
Other than food, vitamin D can be absorbed from sunlight.
This exam detects 2 (two) biomarkers indicating the levels of:
- Vitamin B12: Produces red blood cells.
- Vitamin D: Supports bone health.
Home Instructions
Vitamin sample should be taken in the morning and before taking medication. Please refrain from taking biotin supplements for 2 days before the day of sample collection.
For the the best samples, we suggest:
- Staying hydrated before taking a sample.
- Taking a warm shower to improve blood flow.
- Doing light exercise.
- Shaking the test tube gently instead of violently.
- Avoiding a hard squeeze on the finger.
- Not leaving the sample to sit for more than a day to prevent clotting.

How does the exam work?

- Collect samples according to instructions.
- Put the collected sample into the provided additional box.
- Locate the nearest drop box through the Royal Mail app.
- Place the box into the drop box to be delivered and analyzed.
- Receive your results in 1-3 days.

How long do I need to wait for my results?
The typical Vitamin test turnaround time is 1-3 days. Do note that while we aim to give you results as quickly as possible, the exact result processing time may vary. We are committed to following strict guidelines to ensure quick and accurate results, including staff training, audits, logging, and quality control.
