The test device is placed into the analyser once a buffer-mixed sample has been introduced to the test device strip.
The excitation light source is an LED. A sample that has been placed within the meter is struck by the LED’s light. As a result, the test device’s fluorescent dye releases energy. The signal is stronger when the fluorescent dye emits more energy.
